Medet Ya Seyyidi Sultanul Awliya, Medet.

Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah wa shukr Allah. Astaghfirullah. In
today’s world, all of us here, billions are running top-speed to this
world. Morning, noon-time, nighttime, midnight, twenty-four hours they
are concentrating only on this Dunya. And Allah subhana wa ta’ala is
saying to us, “This Dunya is only a game. It is only a place for you
for a very short time that you are coming and going out. Anything you
are earning and building just makes you to be talking to each other
and being more proud from things.” So this Dunya is a trap to man. How
Muslims have fallen into this foolishness?

Muslims were not like this. Muslims left everything. They left their
belongings, they left their homes, they left everything in Mecca and
they emigrated to Madina. They didn’t take anything with them. The
only thing they were looking at was the Prophet (sws) and they were
running after his words. Whatever he was saying, they were running,
they were taking and putting his words on top of their heads and
living according to those words. And in a very short time Allah
subhana wa ta’ala tested them. When He tested them and He looked at
their faith that, `Yes, they are strong in what they are believing’,
He gave them the Dunya too. They left everything in Mecca, they came
back to Madina and in a very short time a handful of people who were
slaves, they turned and they started ruling the world. When the Holy
Prophet (sws) was giving his message, in twenty-three years time his
message reached everywhere, east, west, north and south. When Islam
reached fifty years of age, Islam was ruling all the way from China to
North Africa. How these people did it? And up till the last century
that’s how it was.

Only one way. They kept Allah and His Prophet (sws) priority. They
kept Dunya second class. Because of that Allah gave them the authority
of the Dunya also. In the last 100 years the Muslims have fallen into
heedlessness, big heedlessness, not half of the day and not only in
the nighttime. Believers should not be in heedlessness even when they
are sleeping. Believers should be in an awakening station. Believers
should not be heedless when he is sleeping. Today’s people are
twenty-four hours heedless. We are falling into that because we are
not living the way we are believing. We are following some other
guides and our guides have become computers, televisions, internets
and all other things that are in our lives today.

If we continue like this then we have nothing to leave to our children
and to our grandchildren. Nothing. They left us Islam. We have nothing
to leave to them. Islam is going to rise but we are going to be
questioned because we didn’t leave anything to them, because we are
not keeping the correct lifestyle of Islam, how are you going to leave
anything else to somebody coming behind? Everything is showing today
anyway, the lifestyle that the Muslims are living and how their
children are living. It’s showing. I don’t need to tell you anything.
Check in your houses, look and understand. “Does this fit to the Holy
Prophet’s (sws) time? Does this fit to the time of the Sahaba? My
actions and everything I am doing, does it fit that I can present it
to the Holy Prophet (sws)?” It doesn’t. If you are finding that it
does then let me know. It doesn’t.

Today is a date for a people, a handful of people. Don’t think that
Islam was so powerful everywhere physically. No. But the spirit that
they were carrying, there was no boundary that they accepted. Because
of one word of the Holy Prophet (sws)… he said, “Istanbul, Constantin,
Rome is going to be conquered. The one who is going to conquer that,
that General is the highest General and his army is the best of
armies.” From the time that the Holy Prophet (sws) said that word up
till the time that Sultan Mehmet Khan who is given the title `Fatih’,
the Conqueror, from that time until his time twenty-three times Islam,
its soldiers were coming in front of Istantul with all its power but
it was not being successful. And then only a handful of people were
coming, believing in something and aiming. And to what they were
aiming they said, “There is no turning back. Either we are here to
live our life here and go clean from this world to the other side or
we are going to conquer this.” Because of the faith that they were
carrying, Allah subhana wa ta’ala’s favor reached to them and they
have conquered.

Conquering! Don’t compare in today’s world that America is going to
Iraq and conquering, or Afghanistan. No. Just like Iraq coming and
conquering America. Compare that. So far distance, and it has nothing.
Muslims today don’t even dream on that. They can’t even dream on it.
And when we are saying, `Yes, Istanbul is going to be conquered one
more time,’ the Muslims are laughing. The ones who are not smiling,
inside they are laughing saying, `What a joke is he saying!’ That’s
true for you because you are heedless! Because your faith is not
moving you anymore. The faith is not moving you. Only you think your
mind is moving you but through mind you are stuck in this world too.
You can’t use that mind. Stuck twenty-four hours.

Istanbul is going to be conquered again. And the Holy Prophet (sws) is
saying, `Rome is going to be conquered a second time.’ Yes, Rome means
Rum. Istanbul. It’s going to be conquered a second time. This time it
is in the hands of unbelievers. They are ruling. It’s going to be
conquered. What is your work in it? Do you know? Do you know what kind
of work you are going to do in it? Are you preparing yourself for that
or are you living lifestyle heedlessly and daydreaming and
night-dreaming and daydreaming and night-dreaming?

Wake up! We must wake up to our own selves. The first thing is we have
to live Islam on ourselves. Then we have to run after rising Islam up.
Islam is up. We have to put the support underneath. Today’s Muslims,
no, they are not doing it because they are running to live for
themselves. But they are not even living for themselves, let alone
Islam. Those people lived for Islam. They left everything, they left
their children, their families, whatever they owned, they left it when
they were going for the sake of Allah. They didn’t make plans for
turning back. They made plans thinking, `I will become a martyr in
this war.’ That’s how they went.

Oh Muslims! Check yourselves. Don’t wait for me to say anything to
you. Check your own selves and you will find out with this tester
where we are standing and stop fooling your own selves. We should stop
fooling our own selves. Islam is going to take over but the Muslims if
they are heedless then Allah is not in need of us. He says, `I will
create new nations and I will give to them.’ As He did. When we became
heedless He took it from us and He gave the power to other nations. If
they wake up, they wake up. If they don’t then He will take it from
them and He will give it to other nations. This is going to rise. It
is the Holy Prophet’s (sws) order. It is going to come up. It is
impossible to go down. We have to look what we are doing in it, how we
are preparing ourselves and how we are making ourselves ready in that
way. Not to be heedless twenty-four hours, yes.

Everyone is waiting for Mahdi (alayhi salam). But twenty-four hours
people are heedless. Do you think when Mahdi is coming he is going to
come to tell us, `Oh your Highness, I am here. You want to join me?
You want to help my work?’ If that is what you are thinking then you
are going to think until Judgment Day. You are going to think until
Azrail is coming and you are going to find yourself on the opposite
side when Mahdi is coming. Heedlessness is not accepted for believers.
The believers cannot be heedless all the time. From time to time
Sheytan may fool but you have to wake up yourself. If necessary you
have to punch yourself, you have to punish your own self to wake up
from that heedlessness. It doesn’t matter what is your age, it doesn’t
matter how tired you are, you have to be in an awakening station. You
have to be like that ant at least…

When they put the fire of Ibrahim (alayhi salam) and they were going
to burn Ibrahim (as) in that fire, all animals were not comfortable
but they didn’t know what to do. One ant with a broken leg taking a
drop of water from Central Turkey started going down, going where
Ibrahim (as) was, all the way down to the south where the fire was.
And the angels asked him saying, “Where do you think you are going?
What are you going to do?” He said, “I am going to turn off the fire
of Ibrahim (as).” They said, “Do you know that fire, how it is? Not
you but billions like you cannot even come near it. What are you going
to do with that drop of water?” He said, “This is the water I am going
to use. If Allah wants He can turn this water into oceans. If He
doesn’t then at least I will die in that way. Walking that way at
least I will die.”

Oh believers! If you are not going to help in that work then at least
die in that way. And that way we will be honored and we will come to
the Judgment Place clean, inshaAllah.

125 g. grødris
1 tsk. salt
1 stang vanille
75 g. smuttede, hakkede mandler
2 1/2 dl. piskefløde
Sukker efter smag


Flæk vanillestangen og tag kornene ud.

Kog ris, mælk og vanille ved svag varme under låg ca.
45 min. Rør i grøden nu og da. Tag vanillestangen op, afkøl grøden.

Hak mandlerne, gem en til at komme hel i desserten.
Rør mandlerne i den kolde grød. Pisk fløden stiv, kom den forsigtigt i det øvrige.

Smag til med lidt sukker

Dialog forum Aarhus har igennem flere måneder prøvet på, at lave forskellige arrangementer med det formål, at øge dialogen mellem de forskellige kulturelle grupper og det Danske samfund. Dette kan ligeledes bekræftes med vores hidtidige events til dags dato.
Som endnu et skridt i denne retning vil Dialog Forum Aarhus hermed gerne invitere Dem til et kulturelt arrangement med tyrkisk sufi musik og hvirvlende dervisher som er en helt unik og speciel spirituel dans der er inspireret af Rumi.

UNESCO ( FN’s organisation for uddannelse, kultur, kommunikation og videnskab) udråbte officielt året 2007 for Mevlana celaleddin-i Rumi`s år og har yderligere markeret 800- året for Rumis fødsel ved at uddele en medalje til ære for den store sufimester.

Formålet med denne aften er at bidrage initiativ til at fremme og sprede budskabet om gensidige forståelse og respekt tværs over kulturerne.

Arrangementet finder sted i Rådhussalen på Rådhuspladsen 2 i Århus C.

Medet Ya Seyyidi Sultanul Awliya, Medet.

Alhamdulillah, astaghfirullah, shukr Ya Rabbi, that He has created us
from the children of Adam (as) and not from monkey, donkey or from the
animal world. Easily He can change it. Those who aren’t happy that
Allah created them and He is giving them the highest title of being
human, and sending us to this world making us to be His
representatives in this world. And if we are not carrying it then this
is a very dangerous thing waiting for us. Our form is human. Our
spirit must be human. Our actions must be human. Everything must be
human. From where are we learning this? We have to take example. The
Holy Prophet (sws). He came and he taught us how to live with our own
selves, how to live with our community, how to live with the people.
If we are not learning that then still we have long ways to go.

So Allah subhana wa ta’ala is saying to us in so many ayats. In so
many ayats He is saying to us, `Through patience and prayers, patience
and prayers, patience and prayers’, mentioning them together. And He
is saying in one ayat in Surat-ul Baqara, `Through patience and prayer
ask help from your Lord.’ Through patience, keeping the prayers and
asking help. Who is it that we need to ask then? Whatever you need.
Whatever is necessary that you are finding that, `I am not getting rid
of this wrong thing that I have, this wrong action that I have.’
Through patience and prayers. Patience! Up till when? Up till the grave.

Don’t think that the patience is something that when something
happens, you are blowing up, you are showing your anger, you are
putting fire out, later you are getting used to the situation and you
are cooling down and you are calling that patience? That is not
patience. Patience is to show how you are carrying it when the first
initial is happening to you. How you are swallowing it. Why are you
blowing up? It is not good for your ego. That’s why. It is not the
spirit. It is not good for the ego. Ego doesn’t like it. Are you the
servant of Allah or the servant of your ego? That action is showing.
You can say as much as you want then. You can say, `I am the servant
of the Lord.’ The action speaks.

So now the Holy Prophet (sws) is saying to us… now we are talking
about only this world because today’s man is only understanding this
world, worrying about this world, worrying, `What am I going to eat
today, what am I going to wear tomorrow, how am I going to be the next
day, where am I going to enjoy myself?’ This is it. This is the only
worrying. East, west, north and south, exception is only a handful of
people. This is the only worrying of the majority. They are going to
masjids and this is what they are worrying, they are praying and this
is what they are worrying.

This should be the last worry for the believers. The believers should
have worry for Akhirat, not for Dunya, because this is only a
temporary life. But we are not learning how to live in this temporary
life. How are you going to put patience in you then? You are not
accepting the reality that Allah subhana wa ta’ala is in control in
everything. Yes, once you know that, once you submit yourself to that,
the patience is going to come with it. You are going to think right
away, `In this situation that is happening, it is not my will, it is
the will of Allah subhana wa ta’ala. If there is something wrong in
it, it is my ego. I am putting my ego in it. I must pull myself, my
ego out.’ And that ego is the most dangerous thing, the Holy Prophet
(sws) is saying to us.

Holy Prophet (sws) is saying to us, `Anything that your ego desires
and likes, that is a road to hell. That’s enough to show to you that
you are on the road going towards hell. Anything that your ego doesn’t
like, that it comes hard to you, that is the road to Paradise.
Continue on that road.’ So what are we understanding from this ayat
now? One more. Jibreel (alayhi salam) asked Allah subhana wa ta’ala.
He wanted to see Paradise, he wanted to see hell, he wanted to see
everything. When he saw hell he said, `Ya Rabbi, there’s no single man
who is going to enter into this hell.’ When he saw the paradise he
said, `There is no single human who is not going to want to be in this
Paradise. They are going to do whatever it takes to enter to this
Paradise.’ Then Allah is saying to Jibreel (as), `Look at the road
from Dunya reaching to Paradise.’ When he looked at that road he said,
`Ya Rabbi, it is impossible for a man to pass through this difficult
road to enter to Your Paradise.’ He (swt) said, `Look at the road
entering to hell.’ When he looked at it, he said, `It is impossible
for any man to escape himself. This road is going to lead them to
hell.’ Then Allah is saying, `Except those that I protect. They are
going to find that road and they are going to enter to that Paradise.’

So who are those ones? Those ones that Allah is saying in the ayat,
`Through patience and prayers they are asking help from their Lord.’
First we have to learn how to ask help. Yes, today so many people are
coming asking for help.

`Dua Sheykh!’

Eh, I don’t know how much my dua is going to work. Sometimes maybe
it’s working, one says to the other ones and everyone is coming
saying, `Dua for me Sheykh, Dua for me.’ I have not found one person
yet, coming to me and say to me, `Dua for me Sheykh for my Akhirat
life. Pray for me for my Akhirat life.’ Everyone is coming to me for
dua, `Dunya, dunya, dunya, dunya.’ Huh!

So now if we are so busy with this Dunya then how we are going to see
the Akhirat? We are already in this Dunya. We are in it. This Dunya is
occupying us twenty-four hours. You cannot escape. Let your spirit at
least to be in Akhirat, to be longing to the Akhirat. If the person is
twenty-years of age and he didn’t understand, then at twenty-five
years of age he at least has to understand that this Dunya is a trap.
Whoever comes in it, one day he falls in that ambush and he falls down
underneath. Don’t you see? If you don’t see then go to graves and you
will see. You can walk around everywhere in the world. One day you are
going to step somewhere underneath which is empty. You are going to go
there. It is a trap! It is a trap to us.

And Allah subhana wa ta’ala who made this trap, He is giving us a
warning, saying to us, `This is a trap to you. And the only way to
escape from this trap is to turn your face towards Me. Ask help from
Me. And I am sending you a living guide. Look at that one how he was
living. Then you will find safety from that trap. Put your life in
alignment with that one, that Prophet (sws) who came to teach you.’
Yes. `And those ones that the Prophet (sws) left behind, hold on
tightly to them. They will lead you there.’

So inshaAllah, this much should be enough for us if we don’t hear
anything. For believers, if we believe these words, should be enough
for us until Judgment Day to shake ourselves to say, `What is it that
I’m doing?’

`Oh! When the Akhirat is going to be? It so long!’

What long? Maybe tomorrow. Maybe Azrail is preparing for tonight.
Maybe Azrail is preparing for five minutes later.

`Sheykh ask for our young ones to have a nice life.’

He doesn’t listen, young one, old one, sick one, cured one. Doesn’t
listen. The time comes, you go. When your name calls, you cannot say
no. You can say no, screaming and saying as much as you want. Today’s
people are screaming, yes. As soon as something happens to them,
running top-speed, twenty-four hours to the doctors. The second house
is the hospital for them. They are thinking that there’s going to be
help reaching there when Azrail is coming. It cannot. It’s not.

Don’t think now that I am telling you, `Don’t go to hospitals.’ So
many people are weird these days. They are taking the words and
changing to the other ways. If it’s necessary then you are going to.
But don’t run to think that the hospital is going to give you life.
Know that you may get cured from your sicknesses in the hospital and
as soon as you come out from the hospital, if your time is up then
Azrail is going to reach you there. Know that. Know that yes, you may
have a heart attack and you may have so many doctors in these days and
they may put you on the operation tables and when they are working on
you don’t depend on that doctor a hundred percent. If you do then he
may be the best doctor in this world but he may have a heart attack
while he is doing a heart operation on you. He may.

So now we must put ourselves and we must wake up while good days are
going, and to listen and to understand. And next time I am not going
to say that again to you.

Astaghfirullah al-Azim wa atubu ilaih.
La hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil aliyyil azim.

These words are for you and for me.
